Education & Events

A Cure In Sight™ was founded in 2012 and officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2014. Since then, we have been committed to supporting the ocular melanoma community through education, resources, advocacy, and funding research for a cure.

As part of our commitment to transparency, we file a Form 990 with the IRS annually. These filings provide detailed information about our finances and operations, ensuring accountability to our donors and stakeholders. You can access all of our 990 filings through the links below. For the years prior to 2015, when our annual income was under $25,000, we completed the required postcard filings, which are also available on the IRS website and various nonprofit reporting platforms.

A Cure In Sight is proud to be a GuideStar-certified Platinum nonprofit, reflecting our dedication to transparency and excellence in serving the ocular melanoma community. This prestigious certification demonstrates our commitment to responsible financial management and measurable impact, giving donors confidence that their contributions are making a difference.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported A Cure In Sight, whether by donating, volunteering, or spreading awareness. Your contributions help us improve the lives of ocular melanoma patients, provide critical resources, and fund groundbreaking research aimed at finding a cure for this rare cancer.

Together, we are making strides toward a brighter future for those affected by ocular melanoma. Thank you for being an essential part of our mission. Explore our financial information, learn more about our work, and join us in the fight against ocular melanoma today.

2024 – Annual Report

A Cure In Sight was instrumental in my recovery when I metastasized from ocular melanoma and unable to work. They provided assistance to pay our rent, gas and food cards for me and Caroline when I had to travel for treatment along with a hotel room when we had no place to stay. Thank you for all of the support. — Mark and Caroline Johnson Reno Nevada
